The goal of Osteopathy is to help patients be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit — not just free of symptoms. Overall well-being is the goal, and unlocking the body's natural healing power is the way.
This is why we are pleased to announce the new therapy of "Osteopathy" at Shikari Well-being Spa.
Osteopathy was founded in the late 1800s by Andrew Taylor Still. Mr. Still was a physician and surgeon in Missouri, USA. Mr. Still realized that surgery was not always effective, and sometimes even detrimental. Because of this, he created a less invasive approach to not only healing pain and illness, but also ailment prevention. Britain then adopted Osteopathy as a legally regulated profession in 1993. Along with the USA and England, the main countries where Osteopathy is popular are Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, Switzerland, Finland, Portugal, Iceland and Malta.
Overall, Osteopathy restores the body's innate mechanisms, such as nerve reflexes, endocrinology, immunity, fluid circulation, psychology, and emotions, back to normal. Osteopathic manipulation is applied not only to muscles and joints, but also to internal organs, lymphatic fluid, brain, cerebrospinal fluid, and all other tissues in the body.
Some reasons to try Osteopathy include:
back pain
infertility
inability to sleep
poor circulation
stress
With Osteopathy, the natural healing functions of your body can be restored.
Osteopathy treatment is now available at Shikari Well-being Spa in Kyoto, Japan.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
